Bolton Ings - Sunday 6th July

Started out at 09.00 am, weather was cloudy, warm and dry brightening up later. The pair of Great Crested Grebes on the Western pool have hatched, at least 2 young seen. A Common Sandpiper flew from the river onto the Eastern pool and a party of 6 Mistle Thrush flew over.
