Main Marsh - Mute Swan 25, Wigeon 1, Tufted Duck 5 broods of 9, 1, 10, 2 & 4, Oystercatcher 12, Greenshank 1, Green Sandpiper 3, Common Sandpiper 1, Snipe 4, Common Tern 6, Sparrowhawk 1, Barn Owl 1, Green Woodpecker 1, Kingfisher 1.
Roost in willows on Willow Pool - Grey Heron 2, Cormorant 4, Little Egret 15 came into roost between 20.22 and 21.45 as follows 2 already in, 1 at 20.22, 1 at 20.38, 2 at 21.08, 3 at 21.14, 2 at 21.15, 1 at 21.19, 1 at 21.33, 1 at 21.36 and finally 1 at 21.45. Tonight nearly all the Egrets dropped in from high and were a great sight as they fell out of the sky with legs dangling. 6 came in from up the valley and 7 from down the valley.
