Much better today after fog all day yesterday. 8 - 10°C, hazy start,but soon cleared, 8/8 cloud and a light southerly.
Anglers CP: The Red-crested Pochard was present for the 6th day. The Water Rail and a Snipe were showing well in front of the hide. Grey Wagtail 1. Lesser Black-backed Gull 29 - but no views of the adult with orange/red darvic ring on left leg, seen yesterday by the Carlton DreamTeam. They also heard two Tawny Owls calling towards Wintersett village.
Wintersett Res: CDT had a flock of 25 Siskin on the north bank. Water Rail were heard in the SE corner and off the west bank.
