Carlton Marsh

8 birds caught this morning with Vivien Hartwell included 7 retraps. They were; 10 blue Tits, 10 Great Tits, 3 Willow Tits, 2 Coal Tits, 2 Robins and a male Goldcrest.
The Willow Tits were colour-ringed as part of the 'Back from the Brink' scheme to track them. Two of them were already BTO ringed previously X076227 was ringed here as an adult on 5/9/15. All three were fitted with a red plastic ring over the BTO ring on the right leg, which signifies that they were fitted at Carlton Marsh. The left leg was fitted with an individual colour i.e. red on the first bird, yellow on the second bird and orange on the 3rd.
