Wombwell Ings - Present were 1y Mute Swan, 54 Canada Geese, 2 Shelduck, 107 Wigeon, 23 Teal, 16 Shoveler, 12 Mallard, 5 Gadwall, 1 Little Grebe,1 Cormorant, 2 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel, 31 Lapwing, 1 Snipe, 51 BH Gull, 9 Skylark, 8 Meadow Pipit, 10+ Fieldfare, 2 Redwing, c10 Long Tailed Tit and 5 Reed Bunting.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+6y Mute Swan, 300+ Canada Geese, 26 Teal, 25 Shoveler, 18 Tufted Duck, 5 Wigeon, 4 Gadwall, 3 Mallard, 1 Goosander, 1 Little Grebe, 12 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 8 Coot, 5 Moorhen, 41 Lapwing, 15+ Snipe, 4 Ruff, 79 BH Gull and 1 Common Gull. Early AM, PWK also had 1 female Marsh Harrier ( 8.15 to 8.30am ), 1 juv Peregrine and 16 Grey Partridge.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 4+3y Mute Swan, 30 Tufted Duck, 16 Pochard, 8 Gadwall, 3 Shoveler, 2 Mallard, 3 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 158 Coot, 21 BH Gull and 11 Common Gull. Also present were 5 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 2 Jay and 1 Stonechat.
