The Edge 09/11/2017

Wombwell Ings - Present were 204 Canada Geese, 8 Greylag, 129 Wigeon, 35 Teal, 16 Shoveler, 6 Mallard, 2 Gadwall, 1 Cormorant, 1 Peregrine through at 9.05am, 1 Kestrel, 34 Lapwing, 3 Snipe, 113 BH Gull, 1 Common Gull, 3 Meadow Pipit, 3 Pied Wagtail, c50 Redwing and 1 Willow Tit.
 Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+6y Mute Swan, 30+ Teal, 19 Tufted Duck, 18 Pochard, 14 Gadwall, 11 Wigeon, 6 Mallard, 1 female Goldeneye, 1 male Goosander, 1 Little Grebe, 8 Cormorant, 2 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Peregrine, 1 Kestrel, 8 Coot, 8 Moorhen, 31 Lapwing, 14 Dunlin, 8 Snipe, 63 BH Gull, 4 Herring Gull and 2 Common Gull. Early AM, PWK also had c350 Golden Plover, c150 Fieldfare over west and c80 Redwing over south.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2+2y Mute Swan, 1 Greylag, 13 Pochard, 9 Gadwall, 6 Tufted Duck, 6 Mallard, 4 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Moorhen, 175 Coot, 17 BH Gull and 9 Common Gull. Also present were 4 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 3 Lapwing over west and 1 Bullfinch.
Warbler Way - Adam Hutt had 1 calling Marsh Tit, 2 Willow Tit and 1 calling Cettis Warbler.
