Wombwell Ings - Present were 1y Mute Swan, 77 Greylag, 131 Wigeon, 21 Teal, 16 Shoveler, 11 Mallard, 9 Gadwall, 3 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron,1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 45 Lapwing, 8 Golden Plover, 1 Ruff, 65 BH Gull, 1 Common Gull, 2 Skylark, 9 Redwing, 50+ Goldfinch, 2 Bullfinch and 2 Reed Bunting. K.Fisher also had 5 Grey Partridge, 1 Treecreeper and 7 Fieldfare.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+6y Mute Swan, c300 Canada Geese, 29 Teal, 21 Shoveler, 14 Tufted Duck, 7 Wigeon, 5 Pochard, 5 Gadwall, 2 Mallard, 1 Goosander, 9 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 16 Grey Partridge, 10 Coot, 6 Moorhen, 38 Lapwing, 1 Ruff, 23 BH Gull, 1 Common Gull and 2 Grey Wagtail.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2+2y Mute Swan, 1 Greylag, 65 Tufted Duck, 12 Pochard, 8 Gadwall, 3 Mallard, 3 Shoveler, 5 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 178 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 12 Common Gull, 2 LBB Gull and 1 Herring Gull. Also present were 5 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 2 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 2 Jay, 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Bullfinch and 1 Redpoll.
