Wombwell Ings - Present were 42 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag, 49 Teal, 22 Shoveler, 5 Mallard, 5 Wigeon, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel, 1 Moorhen, 208 Golden Plover, 146 Lapwing, 2 Dunlin, 44 BH Gull, 1 Common Gull, 6+ Skylark, 3 Pied Wagtail, 2 Grey Wagtail, 7 Redwing and 30+ Linnet.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+3 juv Mute Swan, 27 Shoveler, 24 Tufted Duck, 22 Teal, 8 Gadwall, 7 Mallard, 7 Wigeon, 1 Pochard, 1 female Pintail (8.10-9.08am), 5 Little Grebe, 5 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Kestrel, 6 Red Legged Partridge, 6 Coot, 3 Moorhen, 14 Lapwing, 4 Snipe, 1 Dunlin, and 7 BH Gull.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2+2 juv Mute Swan, 39 Tufted Duck, 3 Mallard, 3 Pochard, 2 Gadwall, 2 Teal, 2 Shoveler, 4+1 juv Great Crested Grebe, 2 Little Grebe, 264 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 9 LBB Gull and 7 BH Gull. Also present were 14 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Sparrowhawk, 76 Lapwing, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Green Woodpecker and 1 Grey Wagtail.
