Wombwell Ings - Present were 27 Canada Geese, 75 Wigeon, 62 Teal, 16 Shoveler, 3 Mallard, 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Cormorant, 1 Moorhen, 98 Lapwing, 3 Golden Plover, 3 Dunlin, 1 Snipe, 73 BH Gull, 2 Common Gull, 15+ Skylark, 4 Redwing, 1 Song Thrush, 3 Pied Wagtail, 7 Linnet, 3 Reed Bunting and 1 Yellowhammer,
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 3 Mute Swan, 250+ Canada Geese,43 Shoveler, 26 Tufted Duck, 24 Teal, 20+ Wigeon, 11 Gadwall, 9 Mallard, 4 Pochard, 1 Goldeneye, 3 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 6 Red Legged Partridge, 38 Lapwing, 48 BH Gull and 2 Common Gull. Seen early morning were 1 Barn Owl, 1 Little Owl and 1 Curlew (K. Fisher).
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2+2 juv Mute Swan, 11 Pochard, 8 Mallard, 3 Gadwall, 3 female Goosander, 3 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 10 Cormorant, 271 Coot, 3 Moorhen, 7 BH Gull, 6 Common Gull, 2 LBB Gull and 2 Herring Gull. Also present were 1 Little Egret, 7 Lapwing, 3 Green Woodpecker, 1 Kingfisher and 2 Redwing.
