Wintersett + Vis.Mig. + Ringing 06.11.18

11 -13 degrees with 6/8, but increasing cloud, and a strengthening south easterly.
Incidental Vis.Mig: Brambling 2 west.  Starling 80 west.  Pink-footed Goose 40 east.
Anglers CP:  Common Scoter 2 immature/female type. Pink-footed Goose 1.  Water Rail 1 SW corner. Shoveler 33.
Cold Hiendley Res: Steve Denny found a YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER on the south west bank. (A MEGA here, and new for the year.)  The juvenile drake Scaup still present.
Wintersett Res: 3 Rock Pipits were on the west bank, then left south at 10.50hrs.  Water Rail 2.
Gull Roost WRes: per Chris Swaine.  Hardly any big gulls in tonight.    Circa 1500 Black-headed Gulls and a weird Common Gull.   500 Starlings.   Around 800 Corvids were in fields by HPWood.
40 birds were ringed: Highlights 31 Lesser Redpoll.  2 Goldfinch.  5 Redwing.
Odonata: A Migrant Hawker was around SW corner Cold Hiendley Res..
