Wombwell Ings - Present were 1 Mute Swan, 166 Canada Geese, 47 Wigeon, 31 Teal, 17 Shoveler, 2 Mallard, 2 Cormorant, 1 Moorhen, c250 Golden Plover, 112 Lapwing, 8 Dunlin, 2 Snipe, 142 BH Gull, 2 Common Gull, 2 Skylark and 1 Pied Wagtail. Seen in Broomhill Park were c50 Fieldfare, 10+ Redwing, 2 Goldcrest and 1 Treecreeper.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+3juv Mute Swan, 1 Whooper Swan, 296 Greylag, 108 Canada Geese, 26 Teal, 24 Shoveler, 19 Tufted Duck, 8 Mallard, 3 Gadwall, 3 Wigeon, 1 male Goosander, 16 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Sparrowhawk, c50 Lapwing, 71 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull and 60+ Redwing.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 4+4 juv Mute Swan, 46 Teal, 6 Pochard, 6 Mallard, 1 Tufted Duck, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 13 Cormorant, 3 Grey Heron, 6 BH Gull, 2 LBB Gull and 2 Common Gull. Also present were 46 Lapwing, , 2 Dunlin over east at 12.23pm and 3 Green Woodpecker.
