Wintersett Res: Goldeneye 2 females. A juvenile Water Rail was in the west bank marsh. Tufted Duck 5 young. A brood of Cetti's on west bank. Hobby 1.
Cold Hiendley Res: Gadwall 23. Great Crested Grebe 3 young + 1 adult in wing moult WRes.. Little Grebe 1.
75 birds were ringed today: Highlights were - 11 Blackcap. Garden Warbler 4. Whitethroat 4. Lesser Whitethroat 1. Reed Warbler 16. Sedge Warbler 9. Chiffchaff 14. Willow Warbler 7 and Cetti's Warbler 1 adult female.
