A walk round with Richard Laverack this afternoon saw Green Woodpecker, 3 Buzzards up (2juvs), at least 2 juv Sparrowhawks calling & 1 flying, Greenfinch and 7 Dabchicks (6 juvs).
Butterflies included 7 Peacock, 2 Red Admiral, 2 Comma and 1 Purple Hairstreak.
Littleworth Park - Monk Bretton
18 species of butterfly included 7 Small Copper, 2 Holly Blue, 88 Common Blue, 5 Brown Argus, 1 Large Skipper, 10 Small Heath, 226 Gatekeeper, 17 Peacock, 2 Comma and 1 Red Admiral (Chris Parkin).
