Wintersett 21.01.13

SNOW 7cm - but slushy underneath, cold NE wind, grey and overcast.
Anglers CP: Highlight today was 20 Waxwing  that flew south,    Longtailed Duck 1 male and 1 female,  Snipe 4.
Wintersett Res: Smew 1 drake and 1 redhead,  Scaup 2 males,  Yellow-legged Gull 3rd W.
Anglers CP Gull roost tonight held 417 Herring Gull,  Great Black-backed Gull 101 and Lesser Black-backed 2.

Only 7cm ? I presume you mean inches. Didn't expect the Lt ducks to stick around as long. Hope all is well.

Yes we are metric - only 7cm round here. LT ducks still spending more time under water than on top. All is very well thank you.

Big difference up here at Stocksbridge, we have 21cm of snow.

Big difference in Worsbrough also. It is up to 7 inches. Hope theres not much of this snow on 13th Feb Martin!
