Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2a+5y Mute Swan, 7 Canada Geese, 54 Mallard, 37 Gadwall, 12 Tufted Duck, 10 Teal, 3 Pochard, 2 Shoveler, 4 Cormorant, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 14 Little Grebe, 139 Coot, 12 Moorhen, 41 Lapwing, 5 Snipe, 1 Green Sandpiper, 3 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 1 Kingfisher and 2 Yellow Wagtail.
Wombwell Ings - Present were 122 Canada Geese, 3 Greylag, 14 Mallard, 5 Teal, 3 Garganey, 2 Shoveler, 1 Tufted Duck, 1 Wigeon, 2 Cormorant, 4 Little Egret, 1 Great White Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 124 Lapwing, 31 BH Gull, 2 Kestrel, 2 Yellow Wagtail, 3 Linnet and1 calling Green Woodpecker.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 4a+10y Mute Swan, 39 Greylag, 19 Canada Geese, 89 Gadwall, 46 Tufted Duck, 27 Mallard,17 Pochard, 1 Wigeon, 1 Shoveler, 4 Cormorant, 4 Grey Heron, 19 Little Grebe, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 224 Coot and 8 Moorhen. Also present were 1 Little Egret, 120+ Lapwing, 1 Green Sandpiper, 2 Kingfisher and 1 singing Chiffchaff.
