Wintersett Res: Black Tern 4 and a Kingfisher with fish.
Anglers CP: A Green Sandpiper went south at 07.40hrs and a Tree
Pipit south at 08.24hrs, Wigeon 3, Pochard 8, Gadwall 18, Teal 9, Shoveler 6,
Cormorant 10, Common Sandpiper 1, Garden Warbler 1 and Grey Wagtail 1. Psycho the adult Yellow-legged Gull flew around the shallows and flushed everything before settling on the lake.
52 birds were ringed today, including: 20 Willow Warbler, 9 Chiffchaff, 10 Goldfinch and 4 Blackcap.
Overnight moth trapping produced: Dingy Footman 5, Dusky Thorn 2, Bulrush Wainscott 1, Angle-striped Sallow 3, Centre-barred Sallow 1 and Silver Y 1.

We had 4 goosanders in a couple of weeks ago, but none since.
