Geoff Carr came this evening to ring our Barn Owl owlets. There were just 2 huddled up together. On route we noticed at least 100 Small Tortoiseshell larvae on a nettle patch. A kingfisher was busy nearby and a shoal of about 20 Chub were coming up for flies.
