Wintersett 14.06.17

A humid 16 - 20 degrees, with scattered, increasing cloud and a light south westerly.
Anglers CP:  The first thing I saw when I looked from the hide was a mink on the Sand Martin Box!  Two pairs of Sand Martins were flying around desperate to feed their young, sadly, to no avail.   Common Tern 6 +2 WRes.
Ringing Highlights: Blackcap 14.  Chiffchaff 12.  Tree Creeper 3.  Cetti's Warbler 2 (an adult female and a juvenile, on the ruin),  Garden Warbler 1,  Whitethroat 1,  Reed Warbler 1,  Coal Tit 1 and Willow Tit 1.
Lepidoptera:   Meadow Brown and Large Skippers were seen in small numbers   6 Chimmney Sweeper moths were on the north east bank WRes. 
Odonata:  Emperor 1 and Four-spotted Chaser 3.
