Wintersett 07.06.17

10 -14 degrees with scattered cloud and a moderate to strong south westerly.
Anglers CP: Common Tern 5 + 1 WRes..   The 3 young Oystercatchers are growing fast. (The 3rd young has avoided detection for the past 5 days!)  Cormorant 2.   Mallard young 8 small/medium + 5 medium/large WRes,,
Wintersett Res:  Part of the  dead crack willow, on the edge of the road,  came down overnight but was cleared away by 08.30hrs.  The nest of the Great-crested Grebe on the north east bank has been washed away by the strong winds. 
Lepidoptera: A Brown Argus was on the sheltered area between the west bank and the ruin area.
