Carlton Marsh

There wasn't much in the way of wildfowl to count as most of the water areas are frozen, but at least the Bittern revealed itself as it flew across the scrape into another reed bed. 6 Redwing, Willow Tit, 5 Herring Gull were also of note.

Some nice Velvet Shank (Flammulina velutipes) fungi is thriving on Goat Willow in the car park.
