Carlton Marsh

On the mildest day so far this year (12.5c) 36 Greylag Geese flew north at 09.10hrs and Bittern climbed up on the reeds just before 10am. At 10.46hrs it flew across the scrape towards the hide and landed in a reed bed nearby. (CG/Vivien Hartwell)
