Carlton Marsh

A juvenile Med Gull was on the wader scrape from at 13.40hrs until 15.20hrs (Dave Smith/CG) when everything was disturbed by a shooter on private land nearby. All the gulls left  north. However, the Med Gull returned and was still present when Richard Laverack left the site at 20.33hrs. Today's gulls included 10 LBB, 7 Herring and c150 BH Gulls. A Willow Tit called near the view point.

Insects included Red Admiral, Brown and Southern Hawker, Black-tailed Skimmer and Common Darter, which seem to be scarce this year so far.
