Wombwell Ings - Present were 195 Canada Geese, 22 Greylag, 1 Mallard, 1 Cormorant, 47 Little Egret ( Early AM by P. Kent ), 16 Grey Heron, 2 Kestrel, 2 Moorhen, 16 Lapwing, 311 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 2 Pied Wagtail, 2 Whitethroat, 1 Reed Warbler, 1 Yellowhammer and 1 Reed Bunting.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+4y Mute Swan, 169 Canada Geese, 5 Greylag, 93 Mallard, 37 Tufted Duck, 21 Gadwall, 10 Shoveler, 2 Pochard, 38 Little Egret, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 5 Cormorant, 21 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Red Legged Partridge, 135 Coot, 9 Moorhen, 19 Lapwing, 9 Snipe, 3 Common Sandpiper, 2 Pied Wagtail and 2 Yellow Wagtail.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2+2y Mute Swan, 47 Greylag, 24 Canada Geese, 29 Mallard, 22 Gadwall, 16 Pochard, 12 Tufted Duck, 3 Teal, 1 Shoveler, 7 Little Grebe, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 148 Coot and 2+2y Moorhen. Also present were 3 Grey Heron, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Kestrel, 2 Lapwing, 6+ Swift, 2 Green Woodpecker, 1 Grey Wagtail, a singing Willow Warbler, 1 Blackcap and 50+ Goldfinch.
