Wombwell Ings - Present were 25 Canada Geese, 10 Teal, 1 Mallard, 5 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 32 Lapwing, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Greenshank, 1 Redshank, 73 BH Gull, 4 LBB Gull and 3 Yellow Wagtail.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+4y Mute Swan, 16 Canada Geese, 4 Greylag, 1 juvenile Shelduck, 32 Tufted Duck, 14 Mallard, 8 Gadwall, 5 Teal, 2 Pochard, 1 Shoveler, 3 Cormorant, 46 Little Grebe, 8 Little Egret, 5 Grey Heron, 1 juvenile Great Crested Grebe, 81 Coot, 12+ Moorhen, 50+ Lapwing, 6 Snipe, 1 Greenshank, 1 Common Sandpiper, 13 BH Gull and 2 LBB Gull. P. Kent also had 1 Kingfisher and 1 Hobby ( over 8.03am ).
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2+1y Mute Swan, 128 Greylag, 86 Canada Geese, 17 Mallard, 11 Gadwall, 2 Tufted Duck, 1 Pochard, 5+ Little Grebe, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 161 Coot and 2+3y Moorhen. Also present were 8 Cormorant, 3 Little Egret, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk, 30+ Lapwing and 1 LLB Gull.
