Wombwell Ings - Present were 1 Canada Goose, 2 Mallard, 2 Teal, 14 Grey Heron, 11 Little Egret, 1 Kestrel, 21 Lapwing, 1 Common Sandpiper, 91 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 3 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Willow Warbler, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 15+ Long Tailed Tit, 30+ Goldfinch, 1 Yellowhammer and 1 Reed Bunting.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+4y Mute Swan, 42 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag, 41 Tufted Duck, 32 Gadwall, 17 Mallard, 5 Teal, 2 Pochard, 42 Little Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 7 Little Egret, 107 Coot, 24 Moorhen, 20 Lapwing, 1 Greenshank, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Snipe, 13 BH Gull, 2 Yellow Wagtail and 2 Pied Wagtail.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2+1y Mute Swan, 203 Canada Geese, 94 Greylag, 24 Gadwall, 20 Mallard, 9 Pochard, 7 Shoveler, 5 Tufted Duck, 3 Teal, 8+ Little Grebe, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 138 Coot and 1+2y Moorhen. Also present were 9 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel, 2 Lapwing and 1 Green Woodpecker. A. Hutt had a Bittern mid morning.
