Wombwell Ings - Present were 133 Canada Geese, 28 Teal, 1 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Kestrel, 2 Moorhen, 62 Lapwing, 5 Black Tailed Godwit, 4 Dunlin, 1 Snipe, 1 Greenshank, 52 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 10 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Pied Wagtail, 3 Whitethroat, 1 singing Chiffchaff, 5 Linnet and 20+ Goldfinch.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+4y Mute Swan, 300+ Canada Goose, 31 Greylag, 1 juv Shelduck, 57 Mallard, 27 Gadwall, 27 Tufted Duck, 8 Teal, 1 Pochard, 51 Little Grebe, 3 Cormorant, 8 Little Egret, 4 Grey Heron, 1 Sparrowhawk, 52 Coot, 11 Moorhen, 18 Lapwing, 11 Snipe, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Greenshank, 1 Spotted Redshank, 11 BH Gull, 2 LBB Gull, 75+ Sand Martin, 50+ House Martin, 15+ Swallow, 10 Yellow Wagtail and 2 Pied Wagtail.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 3+2y Mute Swan, 34 Greylag, 15 Canada Geese, 48 Mallard, 6 Teal, 5 Gadwall, 4 Pochard, 3 Tufted Duck, 6 Little Grebe, 3+2y Great Crested Grebe, 8 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 213 Coot, 2 Moorhen and 1 LBB Gull. Also present were 1 Little Egret, 2 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 15 Lapwing, 1 Kingfisher and 1 Grey Wagtail.
