Wintersett + VisMig + Gull Roost 15.10.20

Wintersett VisMig - per Gray Speight

 Going north west:  A Hawfinch, calling continuously. 

Going east: Whooper Swan 7.  Pink-footed Goose 200 in 3 skeins. 

Going west:  Redwing 2089.  Fieldfare 375.  Starling 945.   Brambling 7.   Chaffinch 70. 

Going south east: 2 Great Egrets came in to Wintersett Res. at 12.50,hrs. They landed in theWillow Wood tree tops before leaving to south east at 13.00. 

Going south: Goosander 1.  Swallow 6 

Going north:  Heron 1. 

Anglers CP: Black-necked Grebe 3.  Pintail 1 drake.  Goldeneye 7 + 4 WRes.. 

Wintersett Res: The juvenile Garganey still in NE corner and a Kingfisher.   per Steve Denny.

Anglers CP Gull Roost: per Steve Denny  

 Lesser Black-backed Gull 667.  Herring Gull 150.  Great Black-backed Gull 18. Yellow-legged Gull 7. 

Insect: A European Hornet was seen near the cafe.
