Last night's moth catching session (25/5/23) with C. Parkin provided 16 species that included 3 Pale Tussock, 1 Dark-barred Twin Spot, The Campion, Clouded Silver, Pale Prominent, The Spectacle etc. A Orange Footman was new for this site.

Today the drake Garganey showed well for much of the day on the scrape as did Kingfisher. The male Goldcrest was seen in the car park Yews again (L & A Corrall).
Woolley
3 Buzzards were up together. Butterflies included 3 species of 'Blue', 107 Small Blue, 1 Holly Blue and 38 Common Blue. 10 Dingy Skipper, 43 Small Heath, 13 Brown Argus and 1 Small Copper. (Chris Parkin)
