Following in the wake of recent skeins large movements of Pink Feet Geese flew West & NW today to the Lancashire and Cumbrian coasts, were two weeks earlier than usual. Starting with c200 at 08.55hrs followed by c80 at 11.05hrs. Then came c400 at 13.30hrs and c200 at 13.40hrs. (Keith Bannister, Chris Parkin, Ralph Hibbert, Rod Heeley) Present were 11 Redwing, Green & Great Spotted Woodpecker & Kingfisher.
There was a large flock of finches, including Siskin,but the majority were Redpolls (Jim Plant)
Evidence of Water Vole activity was found near the hide.

Hi Cliff,
Re- photo uploading. Blogger people are aware of the problem so will just be a matter of time. On their home page there are some suggestions about altering settings on your computers to upload. Mark thinks these are for single user blogs so may be better to bide your time.
