This afternoon there was a notable southerly movement of large gulls that included 84 Herring Gulls, 3 GBB Gulls and 10 Common Gulls. Were they heading for Broomhead Res? In the adjacent fields were coveys of 9 and 4 Red legged Partridge. On the marsh were 2 Willow Tits a Water Rail and a Kingfisher. The Little Owls below were sat at opposite ends of the old lorry chassis in Lidster's stone reclamation site near Bleachcroft Farm.
