4°C  cool and bright with a light south westerly.
Wintersett Res: A drake SMEW was off the west bank early this morning.  By 10.15 it had relocated to the south west corner.  Jonathan at Pugneys confirmed their Smew was still present, so this is a new bird for the area.   A single Crossbill flew west at 09.12hrs.
Anglers CP Gull Roost: 2 Yellow-legged Gulls - and adult and a 2nd winter were the only notables this afternoon.
Phenology: A dandelion was flowering on the north bank WRes.
