A Whooper Swan was on the CP in the afternoon before heading off north, Greylag 105 and Canada Goose 213, Shoveler 24, Goldeneye 68, Goosander 40 on CP in evening, Cormorant 20, Woodcock 2 at dusk, the Cettis Warbler is still on the Top Res and 2 Willow Tits in the clump.
The gull roost was again split between the lakes with the large gulls on the CP and the smaller gulls on the Top Res; we watched the CP which was slow to begin with but good numbers came in fairly late presumably as Pugneys had been flushed and contained all the best birds (tough luck Pugneys and the birders who left early). Caspian Gull 1 second-winter from 16.25 to dark, Yellow-legged Gull 1 usual adult and 1 first-winter bird, GBBGull 300, LBBGull 5, Herring Gull 1350.
