Edderthorpe, Thursday morning...

The cream-crown Marsh Harrier was up early, flying around the Flash at 06.10. No Little Egrets roosted last night, all had left in the Old Moor direction by 20.00, 5 returned this morning. Teal are up to 225, Shoveler slightly down to 109, Wigeon 15. And a surprise, a grounded wader (not a Lapwing 800 or a Common Snipe 2) a juvenile Black-tailed Godwit. A new peak for Little Grebes with 50 counted last night
