It seems that the blog is receiving less posts than it has, due to the ascendency of Twitter for reporting sightings.
Would it be a good idea for someone in admin on here, to monitor Twitter (as they do in Donny) and give a precis of the events of the day as not everyone has the Twitter app etc?

John, a quick reply though I will give you a more detailed explanation of the reasons for using twitter either tonight or tomorrow. Until then, just to say that if anybody can access this blog then (unless someone can tell me different)they can access twitter (where the bulk of the news is carried) without registering (on twitter). THIS IS CLEARLY STATED BESIDE THE TWITTER LOGO YOU CLICK ON. So the choice is theirs.
Twitter is great for getting news to the masses very quickly, whereas a blog post takes more time to collate, but creates an archive that can be searched more easily than Twitter.
Maybe volunteer collater needed.
