Wombwell Ings mid AM- Present were 3 Little Grebe, 7 Cormorant, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 1 Canada Goose, 49 Teal, 23 Mallard, 3 Shoveler, 2 Gadwall, 2 Kestrel, 116 BH Gull, 3 LBB Gull, 163 Lapwing, 1 Greenshank, 1 Ruff, 1 Common Sandpiper, 3 singing Chiffchaff and 2 Grey Wagtail.
Broomhill Flash late AM- Noted were 11 Little Grebe, 16 Cormorant, 5 Grey Heron, 1a+1y Mute Swan, 7 Canada Geese, 1 Shelduck, 18 Tufted Duck, 16 Mallard, 13 Teal, 1 Shoveler, 2 Kestrel, 2 Buzzard(over Cat Hill), 16 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 133 Lapwing, 5 Ruff, 5 Snipe, 1 Greenshank, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Snipe and 6+ Yellow Wagtail( Clegg's Meadow ).
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM- Just when you think "I could get used to these Indian summers" the whistling of 43 Wigeon reminds you that winter is not too far away. Also present were 11 Little Grebe, 10 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 4a+7y Mute Swan, 1 Canada Geese, 44 Gadwall, 24 Tufted Duck, 7 Pochard, 2 Mallard, 1 Marsh Harrier (quartering for 10 minutes at 12pm), 1 Kestrel, 4 BH Gull, 85 Lapwing, 4 Black Tailed Godwit(thro east at 12pm), 1 Swallow, 1 Green Woodpecker and 1 Brimstone butterfly.
