The highlights today were adult male Redstart at back of wader scrape and juv Pintail on on main scrape (CG/JP). Also present resident Buzzards in the air with their one offspring, Great Spot Woodpecker, Treecreeper, 38 Teal, Cetti's Warbler, 3 Cormorant and Kingfisher.
11 Red Admiral were feeding on Buddleias.
Littleworth Park, Monk Bretton
3 Small Copper, 1 Brown Argus, 2 Common Blue, 6 Small Heath, 6 Meadow Brown, 22 Speckled Wood and 4 Red Admiral. Also male Vapourer moth and 12 Silver Y (Chris Parkin).
Low Cudworth
1 Painted Lady and 1 Hornet mimic hoverfly (Velucella zonaria) on buddleia in Les Corrall's garden.
