Carlton Marsh

The juvenile Whinchat from yesterday was still present, this time with an adult ( about a half a mile from the reserve on the path that leads to Sidcop in Cudworth) sallying for insects from  low bushes and concrete fence posts.

On or near the reserve 2 Cetti's Warblers sang, 6 Swallows, 12 Shovelers, 2 Kestrels, Sparrowhawk, 12 Mistle Thrushes and 1 adult Collared Dove (JP CG)

A Cream Crown Marsh Harrier over upper Cudworth at 07.50hrs was harassed by a Herring Gull as it drifted north (Keith Bannister).
