Adwick Washland on the up

Its great bird habitat already and it can only get better once the excavators have finished their work and shallow flooding is allowed on here.

The dog walkers and horse riders will have to be sorted out.

Yes, its going to be a problem. I was there with Pete Wall looking over the plans for the site. The rehabilitation of the wetland areas look absolutly terrific. However, as you rightly have pointed out, there are problems on there regarding the disturbance and this is something that has to be sorted out. Fortunatly the RSPB understand this but it wouldn't hurt to keep reminding them through emails about it.

HI
I would just like to remind you that the bridlepath was there long before the nature reserve And I ride down there a lot and love it ..
Regarding the comment about sorting the dog walkers and horse riders out ususally with common sense people stick to rules..however the disturbance I have come across down there is the motorbikers.quads ..some people who walk down there also litter( no excuse but theres no bins provided at all) ..:)
