Yes, disturbance is a real concern at Adwick.
There's a load of disturbance at Wombwell Ings - but at least Wombwell Ings has a stretch of water that wildfowl can jump to the otherside of during times of disturbance.
Unfortunatly there isnt that big an area of water on Adwick; so when its disturbed, birds on there are very likely to just leave the site.
This is a great shame because on the face of it Adwick looks to be a great site.
For example - it looks like it should be holding hundreds of wigeon, but its not.
A solution to this, as always, is for local birders to work closely with the RSPB.
