Wintersett Trio 22.11.12

Mild 10 degrees, overcast and  windy.
AnglersCP: Pochard 165 (corrected 23.11.12),  Goosander 9 and Teal 16.
Wintersett Res: There was a surprise ending to  another very muddy trudge this morning . After  checking the regular goodies were still present  - Female Scaup on Botany,  American Wigeon in the SE corner,  Egyptian Goose 2 in the north bank field and 1 on Anglers.   Another Scaup, an adult male,  had joined the juvenile male Scaup off the west bank.  Cheered us up no end!
Some readers may have been on tenterhooks because it's taken me two days to find the fungus mentioned by Cliff earlier this week. That's because it was sitting high up in the dead sycamore, way above my eyeline (as most things are).  Anyhow, here's a shot of what it looks like from underneath.   A fine example indeed.
