Frosty start with blue skies and sunshine.
Wintersett Res: 2 male Scaup.
Anglers CP: Female Long-tailed Duck, Siskin 9, Water Rail 1. An aptly named Early Moth was found in a puddle - unfortunately we weren't early enough to rescue it!
ACP Gull Roost held the highlights again today. In the late afternoon sunshine a 1st W Caspian from 15.50hrs , and a 1st W Yellow-legged Gull showed well together for a time. Also in were 71 Herring, 1 Great Black-backed and 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
