Slow week work wise so the back garden has had a good watching over the last few days.
Up to 10 Blue tits have been visiting, a dozen or so Long Tailed, our usual 2 Willow,a couple of Coal and 6 Great have also put in appearances.
Getting regular visits from 2 Nuthatches now (had been 1 for a few months but I think its pulled ;))
Large flocks of Goldfinches flitting through the trees in the field behind us with varying numbers feeding.
Counted together in the garden and the trees/bushes in the field up to 12 Bullfinches with a total of 8 in the garden in one visit!
M and F G/S Woodpecker.
3 Robins chasing each other and getting up at 5am for a little sing song.
Around 100 Woodpigeons are in the trees each day with a few venturing in.
Good numbers too of Chaffinch, Blackbird ,Collared, Dunnock and even a couple of Lesser Spotted Greenfinch (lesser spotted 'cos we don't see them much!)
Oh, and a Sparrowhawk trying for a takeaway.
Used to have 3 horses in the field behind us but haven't seen them for a while......got to go my burgers ready :D.
