Broomhill Flash
Not one for the twitchers but interesting in that spring is just around the corner with movement late morning when there were 42 Pied Wagtail and 23 Meadow Pipit feeding in the grass field adjacent to Knoll Beck.
Wombwell Ings
c60 Canada Goose, c120 Wigeon, c60 Teal, c20 Gadwall, 2 Shoveler and 1 female Goosander but no wader.
Perhaps only a week to go for a Little Ringed Plover/Sand Martin/Wheatear? What's going to be the first?

Not too sure where you mean here Geoff, perhaps you mean Bulling Dyke rather than Knoll Beck? Anyway, interesting stuff as I haven't seen more than the odd 'mipit' for a while. There has been quite a good number of Pied Wags' in the back field at Broomhill though.
