Broomhill Flash mid AM- On the open water were 5 Cormorant, 2 Mute Swan, 50+ Wigeon, 12 Pochard, 11 Tufted Duck, 8 Teal, 6 Mallard, 4 Wigeon, 2m+1f Shoveler, 104+ BH Gull and 3 Common Gull. In the back field were 10 Red Legged Partridge, 4 Skylark and 30+ Pied Wagtail. Also noted were187+ Canada Geese, 6 flyover Herring Gull and flyover Lapwing(15and 45) . In the car park were 1 Bullfinch and a pair of Tree Sparrow.
Bolton Ings late AM- Highlight was 3m+2f Red Crested Pochard. On the open water were 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Grebe, 3adult+1juv Mute Swan, 22 Canada Geese, 14 Greylag, 1 Pink Footed Goose( flew west with 2 Greylag at 12.01pm), 61 Gadwall, 17 Tufted Duck, 12 Pochard, 7 Shoveler, 6 Mallard, 6 Teal, 1m+1f Goldeneye, 2 Wigeon, 312 BH Gull, 12 Common Gull and 2 LBB Gull. Also present were 2 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 40 Lapwing and 1 Snipe.
