'frankly' spring has sprung

Old Moor: Bittern 'booming' Reedbeds, Redhead Smew, 24 Goldeneye, 43 Goosander, 2 Water Rail, Buzzard, 4 Oytercatchers, Ringed Plover, Barn Owl, 4 Brambling, Waxwing flew over Reedbeds this afternoon.

Seven or eight Heron nests located today at a heronry in the Barnsley area where I believe they first nested in 2010. Has spring sprung at last?
