Frosty and bright start, clouded over by mid morning, light south easterly.
Highlight today was a 1st W Iceland Gull in WRes roost at 15.10 - 15.20hrs (PS). By the time I arrived it had left. Jonathan picked it up at Pugneys around 15.40 (see picture on @jonnybirder on Twitter). He phoned shortly after to say it was on it's way back towards Anglers but a quick dash round proved fruitless. Then a quick return to check WRes again also drew a blank.
Bamf them rang from Anglers to say an adult Iceland/Kumlien's had dropped in at 16.50 hrs. Back again to Anglers, but by then was too dark to pick it up. Ah well - always tomorrow.
Wintersett Res: The 2nd W Caspian Gull was on buoy number 3 on WRes at 15.12hrs. The Cetti's Warbler and a Water Rail were heard on west bank marsh.
Anglers CP: Teal 35. The adult Yellow-legged Gull was in the roost.
