A pair of Buzzards were airborne along with 2 Sparrowhawk, a pair of kestrel and, 2 Peregrine were harassing Wood Pigeon. Also present were 3 Red-legged Partridge and a Redwing. Later c30 Whooper Swans flew NW over Upper Cudworth and the reserve at 16.03hrs.

2 Small Tortoiseshell butterflies were basking in the warmth of the sun.

Meanwhile in Cudworth, Geoff Miller had 8 Reed Buntings (6 males) visit his bird table, a record for his garden.
