Wintersett Res: A flock of 14 Common Scoter (7 pairs), flew in at 08.05hrs and also 1 drake ACP. Teal 2°♂.

Cold Hiendley Res: An American Mink was on the north bank.
Anglers CP: The adult Yellow-legged Gull + adult Lesser Black-backed Gull were on the raft this morning. Great Black-backed Gull 1, Dunlin 1, SAND MARTIN 4 N, Fieldfare 6 W, Goosander 3, Teal 11, Shoveler 2 drake, Pochard 17, Buzzard 4 over, Snipe 10 and Green Woodpecker 1.
Solar Eclipse ACP: Thanks to two photographers (Jason Ridge and Mark Crowther) who allowed us to look through their cameras to view the partial solar eclipse. It was touch and go first thing, but fortunately when it was time for the main event there was a break in the clouds and great views were had by all. It did stay quite light but the birds were significantly quieter.
