Carlton Marsh

Two rare birds visited today, they were Pete Smith & Ange Smith, here to look at the recent habitat creation. It was good to see them both here. Before I arrived they had 8 Lesser Redpolls and a Redshank.  A little earlier 2 Redshanks came in for a short while. (Dave Standish/Phil Dunn)

Also present was Kingfisher, 11 Tufted Duck & Peregrine.

A very small fungi called Scarlet Elf Cup was identified in the car park area. (Ralph Hibbert)
