Wombwell Ings - A good start with a Little Egret in the dyke across from the Old Moor Tavern. On the Ings were 3 Mute Swan, 79 Canada Geese, 127 Wigeon, 10 Mallard, 6 Tufted Duck, 56 Shoveler, 5 Teal, 2 Gadwall, 1 male Goosander, 3 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 11 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 62 Golden Plover, 47 Lapwing, 63 BH Gull and 1 Mistle Thrush.

Bolton Ings -On the open water were 2 Mute Swan, 24 Tufted Duck, 13 Pochard, 2m+3f Goosander, 2m+2f Goldeneye, 4 Mallard, 1 Shoveler, 4 Cormorant, 1 Heron, 1 Little Egret, 3 Little Grebe, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 148 Coot, 4 Moorhen, 11 BH Gull and 5 Common Gull.
